- Candidates must posses a Valid Indiana Teaching License in Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention.
Job Description:
- Provide instruction designed to meet elementary-aged students' individualized educational needs.
- Develop compliant IEPs.
- Participate in case conferences
- Effectively implement IEPs in the general curriculum in order to maximize the learning of each student.
- Maintain communication with parents / caregivers.
- Collaborate with general education teachers in order to differentiate instruction for students who are included within general education classrooms.
- Conduct assessments and collect progress monitoring data.
- Collaborate with support staff, including SLP, PT, OT, School Psychologist.
- Serve as a contributing member of the school's Response to Instruction team.
- Maintain confidentiality.
